The first word I would use to describe Ori and the Blind Forest is beautiful. The visuals are absolutely stunning in this platformer, and the game is amazing in more ways than that. I started Ori and the Blind Forest without really knowing what to expect, but ended up being amazed by the story, visuals, and challenging game play.
This game is one of the best I have played. I love the Legend of Zelda series, but among all of the games I have played, from the Zelda series or not, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild stands out as absolutely amazing. Breath of the Wild starts out normally, with Link, the … Continue reading The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Oxenfree is a complicated and fun ghost story about a group of high school students at a weekend party that goes horribly wrong when a paranormal rift is opened. Oxenfree starts very simply, with a group of teenagers on their way to a weekend party on the remote Edwards Island. You play as Alex, a … Continue reading Oxenfree (Xbox One)
Note: Although played on Xbox One, this game is available for other consoles. This review is of the game without expansion packs. I had to split this post into two posts because of the sheer length, it would have been almost two thousand words long! Admit it. The first person shooter genre is taking over … Continue reading Destiny (Xbox One) Part 1
It's hard not to like Super Smash Bros. There's just something amazing about sitting down on the couch with friends and family to frantically button mash and watching your favorite characters from a mix of video games fight each other. Super Smash Bros for the Wii U has no plot. You just start playing. But … Continue reading Super Smash Bros for the Wii U

With Pokemon Go and other really popular games dominating sales, Minecraft may be getting less popular. But it's still one of my favorites. As everyone knows, in Minecraft you build a house, explore your world, fight monsters, and so much more. Minecraft is a simple game, and if you don't understand it, just read one … Continue reading Minecraft!
